A unified digital ecosystem designed to simplify communication, administration and community engagement for parents, staff and the wider community. Langley Portal sits alongside the existing school website — the website remains Langley’s public-facing marketing presence whilst Langley Portal becomes the authenticated digital experience.
As both a Langley parent and a software founder, I've experienced first-hand the exceptional education the school provides alongside the fragmented digital systems that support everyday school life.
Langley Portal is a proposal to bring those experiences together into one intuitive, modern platform that complements the school's existing systems rather than replacing them.
The demonstrations below are interactive prototypes created to showcase the proposed user experience and long-term product vision.
Move naturally between experiences. A discreet link back to Langley Portal sits within every one.

Everything parents need in one beautiful experience.

Designed around the everyday needs of teachers and school staff.

Open the school's facilities to the wider community through a modern booking experience.

Outdoor learning. Holiday clubs. Adventure. Learning beyond the classroom.
Each experience has been designed independently whilst sharing a common identity, user accounts and long-term vision. Parents move naturally between services without needing multiple systems or multiple logins. This integrated architecture helps the sites to recognise Langley parents, even on the non-Langley-branded community booking and Explorers Club pages, providing them with advanced booking or preferential rates where appropriate.
Langley Portal complements rather than replaces the systems Langley already relies on, including iSAMS or equivalent, and the existing school website. It sits gently above the school’s existing operational tools, translating them into a significantly better experience for parents, staff and the wider community.
With thanks to the Senior Leadership Team for the time and thought given to this proposal. It has been shaped through first-hand experience of the Langley community, combined with a desire to create a digital experience that reflects the quality of the education the school already provides, while helping the school better connect with families, strengthen its community and realise the full potential of its facilities and wider services.
